hello,
I have the same problem: a godaddy.com, php5 enable and the “PHP Extension pdo_mysql must be loaded” note when I get to Configuration Step.

I followed the above instructions but the problem remains….
did you find a solution???

Godaddy is not a good hosting provider with respect to hosting service.. There are always some or the other errors there.. Just create FTP wait for an hour, Change domain name server than wait for 24 hours.. Wait wait and wait everywhere.. Very slow for us..

i have several websites hosted at Godaddy and i am pretty much satisfied with this domain name registrar. it is also very easy to get coupon codes for Godaddy.

It is because of your server setting does not enable pdo_mysql extension. Please contact with the hosting provider for details.

Thanks for the simple guide. I followed your instruction and got into the installation wizard. But when I get to Configuration Step, it says

PHP Extension “pdo_mysql” must be loaded

I have GoDaddy.com and I have already enable PHP 5.x. I also create a database but don’t know why I got that’s error. Any ideas?
